This first and only edition of Laws of Cricket, with its collection of humorous illustrations depicting scenes of cricket by cartoonist Charles Crombie, is a highly sought-after masterpiece. Remarkably, it's rare to come across a complete set in its original pictorial boards; many copies have been split and the illustrations framed instead. Published by Perrier Water with their copyright and logo at the verso of each page, this edition by Crombie - famed for his 'The Rules of Golf' editorial cartoons first released through Perrier in 1906 - is a truly magnificent find in such condition.
First and only edition, large, complete folio containing twelve colour illustrations with captions of the laws of the game, produced for Perrier Limited of London, with Perrier advertisements throughout and to rear page. Original hardback pictorial boards. An excellent example with only minor wear.
