Evil Under The Sun | 1941, first edition with the rare, unrestored dustjacket. The best example on the market.

£5,500.00 GBP

This first edition example of Agatha Christie's Evil Under the Sun represents the best currently on the market.

One of my favourite Christie titles and one of the most sought after due to the amazing design of the dustjacket. It is also one of Christie's hardest to find as a first edition.

First edition, first impression, housed in a custom burgundy box. Original orange boards which are remarkably bright with no sunning to the spine as is so common with this title, minor foxing internally to the pages but this is unavoidable due to the cheap paper used by the publishers, but generally near-fine, the original dustjacket is in stunning condition with just a few nicks to the extremities. One would be hard pushed to find a better example than this. To put it simply it's a rather beautiful example - what else can one say! A dream for the Agatha Christie collector.
