A truly scarce first edition from the pen of Charlie Watts, the late and of course great, Rolling Stones drummer. An ode to his hero, the jazz icon Charlie 'Bird' Parker.

Published in a very limited run in 1964 this has only grown in popularity since the sad passing of arguably the greatest drummer of all time.

First edition, first impression, small octavo. Original white boards with an image of Charlie Watts and facsimile Watts signature, minor wear to edges and front boards but overall near-fine. Internally, very sound. A truly stunning copy with a laid in signature and inscription giving thanks on card: 'Many thanks / Charlie Watts'. Rare.
